Toia is wonderful! Patient, encouraging, fun and yet still firm, she taught swimming to our girls, ages 3 and 6. In just a few short weeks, our 6 year old improved her front crawl and began backstroke. She added stamina swimming the length of the pool many times and diving for toys again and again (8 ft). Our very skeptical 3 year old quickly grew to trust Toia and began her foundation for swimming. Toia came well prepared, on time and always with high energy (even on grey days). We would recommend Toia without reservation!

Ms. Victoria is excellent, she taught my newly 4 yr old son how to swim in 6 weeks. He was able to swim the length of the pool as well as dive to the bottom of our 8ft deep end by the end of the sessions with her. She focused on water safety and comfort with the water right away. Her techniques were perfect for him and easy for us to follow to work with him on the off days. She was always on time and very professional. I highly recommend her !!

We had the pleasure of working with Toia who taught my 8-year-old and 10-year-old how to improve their swimming skills and strokes and to learn to dive. From the very beginning, Toia was incredibly patient, attentive, and she provided an excellent learning environment. MY children have made significant progress, both in skill and confidence. We had a great experience starting swim lessons for my 5 year old son! Toia's confidence in the pool really gave the kids a sense of security while in the water. Her approach and methods met each child where they were with their swimming skills. Can't wait to participate in more classes together!!

Swim for Life East End was wonderful! Did a few lessons to get my 22 month old and my husband and I more comfortable with him in the water. My son took to Victoria right away, as she brought warmth and fun along with toys to each session. We learned some great techniques in a 30min session to help my son going forward. It was fun and informative - highly recommend Swim for Life for lessons!

Toia was fantastic. Our grandson is very hesitant with people and she was so friendly that he immediately opened up to her. Our son & DIL said they have never see that happen so fast. She was gentle but firm, always encouraging and reinforcing his progress with positive comments. She was also extremely specific with what she wanted our grandson to do so it was easy for him to follow her instructions. And yet she made it fun for him as well. Our son, DIL & grandson only came out for a few weekends but she was able to accommodate our schedule. I wish we had been able to use her the entire summer. Highly recommend her.

Highly recommend Toia!!! She was absolutely incredible with my son. Patient, kind and supportive but also firm so he listened to her 100%, and learned within just a few weeks. She taught him to be confident in the water but most of all to have fun - we are so grateful for everything he learned from her this summer!

We had such a wonderful experience with the swimming lessons! Toia is a fantastic swim coach. We scheduled 5 lessons for our 3 year old during our 2 weeks in the North Fork. He had been taking weekly private lessons for several months and was just starting to kick with the instructor. In 5 lessons with Toia, he has actually started to swim and float - with supervision and she taught him how to safely exit the side of the pool. She’s really a professional and has great communication (easy to schedule with and always sends reminder confirmation day of). She came with tons of gear and a consistent teaching framework. Getting my 3 year old to focus after days of camp was no easy task but she really made it fun for him. Highly recommend Toia and hope we’ll be back to work with her next summer!
